Behind the counter
Still the same shop, still the same family
We didn’t start with a showroom full of diamonds. We started in 2004 with one small shop on Main Street, and with trust, built one customer at a time.
Over the years customers have come to trust us as advisers and friends, and in wedding season as something close to therapists. One that stays with us is a grandfather who came in to buy bangles for his newborn granddaughter.
You don’t need to know the jargon or have a budget worked out. Tell us the occasion and we’ll take it from there.

The big days
Gold is memory you can hold
A nani’s bangles, worn thin at the edges. A necklace set worn by three brides. In Fiji Indian families, gold is rarely just jewellery. Why families pass it down

The wedding
The necklace set, the bangles, the mangalsutra. Bring the family, lay it all out on the counter and choose together.

The proposal
Choosing the ring should feel exciting, not daunting. We’ll put rings side by side and explain the certificate in plain words.
Engagement rings
Birthdays and new babies
A new grandchild, a 21st, a son finishing university in Melbourne. When the moment comes, many families still reach for gold.

Dhanteras and Diwali
Many families add a piece every year, often a pair of bangles. The intention behind it matters far more than the size.

Why come in
Designer pieces you won’t find anywhere else
Most of our pieces never appear online, and the best ones don’t stay long. The only way to see everything is to walk through the door.
- No repeatsEvery design is different
- We don’t fill the cases with copies of one design. Each mangalsutra, necklace set and bangle is its own, so the piece you choose won’t be the one everyone else is wearing at the next family wedding.
- 10+Countries we hand-pick from
- We don’t order from a catalogue. Every design is chosen piece by piece, for the finish and the craftsmanship, from makers in more than 10 countries.
- 1,000+Designs in store
- Chains, bangles, mangalsutra, necklace sets and diamond rings, all in one room. Try them on side by side and see how they look together before you decide.
- In personSee what a photo can’t show
- The deep colour of 22ct gold in daylight, the weight in your hand, how a set sits on you, the 916 stamp on the clasp. That’s why we sell in store.
